Our shark products are 100% Australian Gummy shark. This is a common shark in Australia caught using sustainable practices with quotas strictly managed by the Australian Fisheries. They are declared as least concern by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). They are very common in our Australian waters and not endangered. No threatened shark species are used in our products.

Firstly, please also note that these fish are primarily caught for human consumption. Often referred to as flake in fish and chip shops and we mainly use the non-human consumption leftovers which would otherwise be discarded. Therefore nothings wasted. Secondly, we do not catch endangered sharks to use just their fins, tails or skin for dog products! In conclusion, we use the leftovers of common sustainably fished Australian sharks used for human consumption.
